Our partnership-based cooperation with the auditing departments of the savings banks has had a significant influence on the further development of REDIS.win. As Official audit software of the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF), IDEA has specialized since 2001 in the Reliable checking of databases of almost any size from a wide variety of sources. GDPdU - Digital tax audit
AIS TaxAudit and IDEA are the official audit software of the tax authorities. 14,000 tax auditors have already been equipped and trained with IDEA. You too can license this software and check your own data before the tax office auditor comes to check it.
Since January 1, 2002, tax auditors from the tax authorities have been able to request tax-relevant documents that are available to companies in digital form from them in digitally prepared form. The tax office places certain requirements on the preparation of the documents to be provided:
When data carriers are handed over, the stored tax-relevant data, including all information necessary for evaluation, must be handed over to the auditor in machine-readable form on suitable data carriers. The requirements for this are set out in the „GDPdU“summarized - the „Principles of data access and verifiability of digital documents“.
The Federal Office of Finance and Audicon, together with well-known software manufacturers, have developed an XML-based description format that can be used to ensure evaluability by the audit software used by auditors. The Federal Office recommends the use of these description standards to digitally audited companies.

AIS TaxAudit - All about GDPdU
On an equal footing with the auditors of the Federal Office of Finance - AIS TaxAudit was specially developed for the Simple simulation of digital tests was developed in accordance with the GDPdU in order to make digital auditing manageable for all users. A brief explanation of the audit steps and a keyword list of the underlying legal basis make it easier for you to make your selection. You select the audit steps and import the necessary tax-relevant data in accordance with the description standard recommended by the Federal Office of Finance in the GDPdU. As a result, you receive an audit report for further evaluation.
By simulating the upcoming digital audit with AIS TaxAudit, you can identify and eliminate errors in advance. So you are optimally prepared for the digital tax audit. With an easy-to-use graphical mapping tool, you can assign differently named fields in several tables to each other for checking.
