The approximately 3,600 DORA-relevant financial undertakings must also comply with the requirements of the Digital Operational Resilience Act, which have been in force since 17 January 2025 – and their internal audit function must examine these on a risk-oriented basis. This means that audit plans had to be adapted, new audit areas identified, and audits specifically prepared.
In this seminar, we will take a close look at two central testing areas: ICT reporting and testing. You will receive practical insights based on initial, neutralised examination experiences and use cases, as well as concrete action points for Internal Audit. Key audit questions will round off the presentation.

With the mandatory introduction of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) in all EU member states, it strengthens cybersecurity and digital operational resilience in the financial sector. A key area for scrutiny: ICT third-party providers.
DORA requires far more than mere contract monitoring – it demands technical performance monitoring, ongoing risk assessment across the entire supply chain lifecycle, and even an ex-ante risk assessment and due diligence prior to contract conclusion, particularly for critical and important functions.
In this seminar, you will learn what is important for risk-oriented auditing: from the written procedures, through DORA-compliant minimum contractual contents, to full registration in the supervisor's information register. In the one-day AIS TaxAudit Pro Inhouse Training You will be trained in how to use AIS TaxAudit Pro. AIS TaxAudit Pro is based on IDEA and enhances IDEA with numerous check macros for automated testing. Manufacturer-specific interfaces to leading accounting systems facilitate data import.
We only recommend this training for individuals with a basic knowledge of IDEA.
