Value enhancement in savings bank auditing
with REDIS.win
Our collaborative partnership with the savings banks' audit departments has significantly influenced the further development of REDIS.win. We have been able to incorporate and establish requirements, wishes, and optimisations from the savings bank environment in the new REDIS.win Sparkassen-BdZ version. Through this close contact, we have created the optimal Software solution for the Savings bank audit.
In the new REDIS.win Sparkassen-BdZ Version do we have the current requirements from the “Future Business Strategy (BdZ) implemented. REDIS.win is already optional upon delivery to meet the needs of savings banks that want to work according to BdZ specifications, pre-configured. So you can from now on Available standards both in the examination procedure and in the Evaluations and Reports utilisation. Associated increases in effectiveness and efficiency, as well as improved transparency, will sustainably enhance the quality of your auditing activities and are optimally supported by the perfectly tailored use of REDIS.win.

IDEA – Version 12.2
IDEA is the user-friendly software for the import, selection, and analysis of large datasets. The solution, used by users worldwide, comprehensively supports you in reviewing your entire data stock. This allows you to reliably identify irregularities in your data – at the touch of a button.
As Official test software of the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) is IDEA, specialised since 2001 in reliable data stock testing of almost any size from the most varied sources. Around 37,000 tax and audit inspectors work with IDEA. With IDEA 12.2, you can keep pace with the tax inspectors at the tax office. The IDEA 12.2 version impresses with its outstanding performance and a new range of functions.
IDEA Lab
IDEA Lab gives you access to numerous different prototypes of pre-defined analyses. These prototypes are ready to use, straightforward, and will expand your analytical possibilities manifold. IDEA Lab is also continuously updated with new apps and scripts.
IDEA Cloud Service
With IDEA Cloud Share, you have the option to share files within your team, but also with other individuals who do not have IDEA. You can document discussions on topics and delegate tasks via workflow.
Optimised User Interface

GDPdU – Digital Tax Audit
AIS TaxAudit and idea are the official tax administration software. 14,000 tax inspectors have already been equipped and trained with IDEA. You too can license this software and thus audit your own data before the tax office inspector is deployed.
Since 1 January 2001, tax inspectors from the tax authorities have been able to request tax-relevant documents that companies hold in digital form also in a digitally processed format from those companies. The tax office makes specific demands on the processing of the documents to be provided:
When data carriers are handed over, the auditor must be provided with the stored tax-relevant data and all information necessary for its evaluation in machine-readable form on suitable data carriers. The requirements for this are set out in the „GDPdU“in summary – the „Principles for Data Access and Auditability of Digital Records“.
The Federal Office of Finance and Audicon, together with renowned software manufacturers, have developed an XML-based description format that can be used to ensure data can be evaluated by audit software used by examiners. The Federal Office recommends that companies audited digitally use these description standards.

AIS TaxAudit – All About GDPdU
On equal footing with the auditors from the Federal Office of Finance – AIS TaxAudit wurde speziell für die simple simulation of digital exams Developed according to GDPdU to make digital auditing manageable for all users. The software is based on IDEA and SmartX (the previous GDPdU module) and continues to use their capabilities for digital data auditing unchanged.
AIS TaxAudit provides a Extension to IDEA/SmartX dar, which guides you step-by-step through the individual phases of the digital audit. The workflow is clearly visualised and allows even less experienced users to easily familiarise themselves with digital data auditing. This means you are optimally prepared for the digital audit of your company data and can uncover errors before the auditors do.
AIS TaxAudit analyses data for financial audits, payroll tax audits, and special VAT audits. The software enables a complete audit of relevant audit fields under an ergonomically designed, easy-to-use interface. All audit steps are selected from a clear tree structure. A brief explanation of the audit steps and a bullet-point listing of the underlying legal bases make selection easier. You select the audit steps and import the necessary tax-related data according to the description standard recommended by the Federal Central Tax Office in the GDPdU. The result is an audit report for further evaluation.
By simulating the upcoming digital audit with AIS TaxAudit, you can identify and eliminate errors in advance. This is how you are optimally prepared for the digital tax audit. Using an easy-to-use graphical mapping tool, you can map similarly named fields across multiple tables for auditing.
